André Courtois showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Olaru in the 7th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Olaru in the 9th minute of play forced Templars FC's goalkeeper André Courtois to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes had been played when some careless play by Templars FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Adam Olaru was slow to take the kick. During this time Romania's players had a chance to rest. Jonathan Sammut could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Carol Stinga made a huge save. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rasvan Cristescu in the 32nd minute of play forced Templars FC's goalkeeper André Courtois to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Romania fans' excitement grew in the 37th match minute when Romania's Rasvan Cristescu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 41st minute Romania were awarded a corner. Adam Olaru went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 44th minute, Rasvan Cristescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Romania fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. The throw-in from Vasile Ciumak in the 47th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Templars FC's Staffan Apelqvist. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adam Olaru to strike the kick off in the second half. Rasvan Cristescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st minute Adam Olaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Courtois saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Templars FC's Stanislaw Koczara in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. André Courtois made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. Romania made a substitution. Alexandru Pangratiu replaced Alex Serban. Templars FC's Benedict Cumberbatch was substituted for Adelino Marques. Carol Stinga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stanislaw Koczara's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anton Stinga in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg André Courtois saved Templars FC from getting behind. Romania's Carol Stinga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eddie Murphy in the 90th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Templars FC's Francileudo Faarø got a free kick in the 91st minute. 94 minutes into the game, Lawrence Buontempo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Templars FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Romania the free kick. A collision led to Templars FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Lawrence Buontempo hit a great ball. 96 minutes into the match, Templars FC's goal looked a bit too open when Anton Stinga came free, but André Courtois reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Romania played a much better game than Templars FC and deserved their victory. The Templars FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
