Italy's Flavio Vittori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gao Peng Ran in the 86th minute of play. In the 90th minute Andreas Falk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Vittori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute Ture Lundgren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Vittori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Northland Vikings fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Italy were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
