Bruno Guimarães in the 3rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Arnout Reekers, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Kristen Krasmer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Hvam FC's Arnout Reekers threw himself towards the right post 9 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Habakkuk Cole, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 13th minute Habakkuk Cole shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the game, Gijsbert ter Kruimer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Kristen Krasmer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kristen Krasmer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Habakkuk Cole in the 26th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustaaf Groeneveldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Kristen Krasmer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Habakkuk Cole in the 32nd minute of play. Lars Meesters struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Kristen Krasmer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. Lars Meesters kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Hvam FC's zone, Wim Wilmes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kristen Krasmer came out of the goal and Wim Wilmes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 43rd minute, Bas Tuitert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hvam FC's Naci Sezen got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arnout Reekers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Naci Sezen in the 48th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Habakkuk Cole made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Hvam FC's goal looked a bit too open when David Eikelkamp came free, but Kristen Krasmer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Habakkuk Cole in the 55th minute of the match. In the 62nd match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Eikelkamp to maneuver through the defense. Niceto Bakar kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Hvam FC's Habakkuk Ferdinand was substituted for Habakkuk Cole. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Guimarães in the 69th minute of the match. After 73 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Mathijn Doctor. After a defensive mix-up in Hvam FC's zone, Gustaaf Groeneveldt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kristen Krasmer came out of the goal and Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stuparu Chyba kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. The attack was good, but when Lars Meesters in the 87th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. The supporters of Hvam FC booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lars Meesters didn't get a good kick on the ball. 92 minutes into the game, Gijsbert ter Kruimer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Netherlands's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hvam FC the free kick. In the 95th match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustaaf Groeneveldt to maneuver through the defense. Netherlands were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
