The audience thought a goal was coming when Ture Waller got free with Flavio Vittori in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 17 minutes into the match, Northland Vikings's Ture Waller sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Flavio Vittori narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With 20 minutes on the clock, Gomberto Picozzi commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Italy fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 20th minute. Penalty! In the 28thth minute of the game Ture Waller who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Italy's Flavio Vittori was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 30th match minute, Northland Vikings was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Čolak to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st match minute, Northland Vikings was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silverio Padro to maneuver through the defense. Siricio Liotta kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Northland Vikings's Ralf Allgöwer got a free kick in the 46th minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sigfrido Auletta was the one to do the kick off. Benne Benneborg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sigfrido Auletta in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 54th minute Northland Vikings were awarded a corner. Antonio Čolak went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Northland Vikings's Ralf Allgöwer getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Ture Waller struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Flavio Vittori didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Northland Vikings. Northland Vikings's Andreas Falk was substituted for Mel Speerschneider. When Ture Waller came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Northland Vikings fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ture Waller couldn't finish the play. Northland Vikings made a substitution. Gao Peng Ran replaced Ture Waller. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gao Peng Ran in the 74th minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benne Benneborg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sigfrido Auletta, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 82nd play minute Sigfrido Auletta came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Benne Benneborg. 1-1. Italy made a substitution. Guiscardo Davide replaced Sigfrido Auletta. Italy's Guiscardo Davide got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
