Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Karl-Åke Termander started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Djurgårdens IF's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Yngve Fredriksson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tobias Pettersson kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Yngve Fredriksson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hieronim Posadzki in the 14th minute of play. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by Netherlands's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marcus Botvidsson was slow to take the kick. During this time Djurgårdens IF's players had a chance to rest. Hieronim Posadzki made a great header on Djurgårdens IF's corner, it was just that Netherlands's Arnout Reekers managed to reach the ball for a save. 18 minutes into the match, Djurgårdens IF's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Yngve Fredriksson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 19th minute of play forced Djurgårdens IF's goalkeeper Yngve Fredriksson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Yngve Fredriksson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Wilmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yngve Fredriksson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 30th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karl-Åke Termander got free with Arnout Reekers in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Gijsbert ter Kruimer made the kick off in the second half. Karl-Åke Termander blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arnout Reekers having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Åke Termander in the 54th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute, Djurgårdens IF's Jörgen Ekberg seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Jörgen Ekberg the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Djurgårdens IF protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jörgen Ekberg had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 57th minute, Jörgen Ekberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yngve Fredriksson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 57th minute. A hard shot 62 in the game by Gustaaf Groeneveldt from a close distance when the talented Yngve Fredriksson managed to make a qualified save. Djurgårdens IF's players were relieved. After 63 played minutes Djurgårdens IF got a freekick which was hit by Tobias Pettersson. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustaaf Groeneveldt got free with Yngve Fredriksson in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 68 minutes into the match, Djurgårdens IF's goalkeeper Yngve Fredriksson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wim Wilmes. 73 minutes into the game, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yngve Fredriksson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 77th minute, Wim Wilmes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Netherlands fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Yngve Fredriksson came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's Wim Wilmes. But to his dismay, Wim Wilmes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Gustaaf Groeneveldt took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Yngve Fredriksson to make any attempt to save it. The crowd rose to their feet as Gijsbert ter Kruimer kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Yngve Fredriksson. That made the score 0-6 in the 87 minute of play. Wim Wilmes scored 0-7 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yngve Fredriksson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the final whistle sounded Netherlands left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Djurgårdens IF.
