When Lima Team's Herberto Caiado in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The supporters of Germany booed when Lima Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrício Vasconcelos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Albin Holweck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64th minute, Manfred Schonath left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lima Team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Willy Stieler hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Herberto Caiado took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. The referee ignored Lima Team's protests and gave Raimundo Cerqueira a yellow card for diving instead. In the 92nd match minute, Lima Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raimundo Cerqueira to maneuver through the defense. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Lima Team fully deserved thier win.
