Adria Bielsa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kuno Lüdimõis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. The corner led Spain's Omar Toledo to fire away a dangerous shot which Kuno Lüdimõis despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Spain's Israel Jurado suffered a concussion in the 13th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Ding Beckham charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ding Beckham the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 14th match minute, FC ICEWIND DALE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ding Beckham to maneuver through the defense. Ding Beckham hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Kuno Lüdimõis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adria Bielsa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonathan Criado during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of FC ICEWIND DALE booed when Spain was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Criado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kuno Lüdimõis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Omar Toledo, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. If Adria Bielsa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Alesandro Nesta managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC ICEWIND DALE's supporters rose to their feet, but Alesandro Nesta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gabriel Ascaso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 46 minutes into the match, FC ICEWIND DALE's Fernando Marinho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gabriel Ascaso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The FC ICEWIND DALE players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Spain were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Omar Toledo to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Spain defense, Patryk Ranowiecki kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gabriel Ascaso. The Spain fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gabriel Ascaso should have stopped the shot. In the 92nd minute, Sergio Ruiz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Kuno Lüdimõis. The goal made the score 1-3. Spain's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
