The Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valer Nuțu should have stopped the shot. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dan Gagiu in the 91st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s zone, Wim Wilmes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valer Nuțu came out of the goal and Wim Wilmes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
