A collision led to Eendracht Vooruit getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Yanick Neef hit a great ball. Teun Ceustermans didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Albin Holweck went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Eendracht Vooruit's Dre Tombeurs got a free kick in the 33rd minute. A sloppy throw-in by Ulrich Stein in the 36th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Eendracht Vooruit's Arthur Clijsters. 39 minutes into the match, Eendracht Vooruit's goal looked a bit too open when Albin Holweck came free, but Teun Ceustermans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute Frank Sachs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teun Ceustermans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute, Albin Holweck got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yanick Neef during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Armand Pelsers to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Frank Sachs had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Teun Ceustermans. Eendracht Vooruit's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Frank Sachs was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After 58 minutes of play, Germany's Frank Sachs made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teun Ceustermans was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 65th minute, Albin Holweck got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 69 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Dreifuss. With a little luck, Eendracht Vooruit's Teun Ceustermans got control of the ball when Frank Sachs tried to sneak it across the goal line. 75 minutes into the game, Frank Sachs cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Teun Ceustermans was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Linus Schwerner made in the 79th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Eendracht Vooruit's Arthur Clijsters. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adrian Dreifuss during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 82nd match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Dreifuss to maneuver through the defense. Yanick Neef was shown his second yellow card after 88 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The throw-in from Linus Schwerner in the 93rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Eendracht Vooruit's Andre Parmentier. The supporters of Eendracht Vooruit booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrian Dreifuss didn't get a good kick on the ball.
