Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Samuele Kunz got the match started through his kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Switzerland's zone, Edoardo Rinaldi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hias Nüssli came out of the goal and Edoardo Rinaldi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Valdieri getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Dennis Berardo hit a great ball. The supporters of Switzerland booed when Valdieri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dennis Berardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th minute Valdieri were awarded a corner. Alberto Andreola went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Valdieri's Alberto Andreola to fire away a dangerous shot which Hias Nüssli despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 14th minute Samuele Kunz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Stefano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edoardo Rinaldi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Valdieri getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Dennis Berardo hit a great ball. Switzerland's defense didn't have a chance, in the 37th minute, when Edoardo Rinaldi scored to the left of an out of position Hias Nüssli, making the score, 1-0. After 43 played minutes Valdieri got a freekick which was hit by Dennis Berardo. Dennis Berardo hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edoardo Rinaldi to strike the kick off in the second half. If Edoardo Rinaldi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A sloppy throw-in by Alessio Tornese in the 58th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Switzerland's Eric Thomi. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Switzerland reached it. The supporters of Switzerland booed when Valdieri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferruccio Franceschelli didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Samuele Kunz came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Switzerland fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Samuele Kunz couldn't finish the play. In the 70th minute, Valdieri's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Samuele Kunz fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dennis Berardo during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dennis Berardo hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Eugenio Stefano was a little too slow when Samuele Kunz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 84th minute. The score was now 1-1. 91 minutes into the match, Samuele Kunz notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Valdieri's Eugenio Stefano. Eugenio Stefano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Switzerland's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
