The audience was convinced that Zaccheo Andolina's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jerom Quvelirs was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dabi Lorden, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 34th minute, Zaccheo Andolina left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Italy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 37th minute of the game Ladislao Ticho made a throw-in which Elmut Kellu played forward. When Sigfrido Auletta came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Italy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sigfrido Auletta couldn't finish the play. Zaccheo Andolina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jerom Quvelirs read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, 【E ➣ Gatorei 1976's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Jerom Quvelirs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The 【E ➣ Gatorei 1976 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Italy were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dabi Lorden stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dabi Lorden in the 79th minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gomberto Picozzi hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Italy made a substitution. Sansone Vanella replaced Gianpaolo Mascari. Italy's Adriano Curto was substituted for Zaccheo Andolina. In the 82nd minute, Gomberto Picozzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
