Henrich Slany showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aníbal Marquez in the 6th minute of the match. Teodoro Carioca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Henrich Slany made a huge save. Teodoro Carioca didn't have the luck on his side when he, from a short distance, got a opportunity for a shot on goal in the 7th minute. The shot missed the goal on the right side and Teodoro Carioca ran dejectedly back to his position. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Metod Mlynar in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcus Dias saved Caneleiros FC from getting behind. Oliver Holub fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcus Dias having to interfere. Teodoro Carioca came free with the goalkeeper in the 15th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Henrich Slany could save by the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pavol Koleno during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 16th minute, Pavol Koleno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Serginho Carneiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Slovakia's Henrich Slany got control of the ball when Teodoro Carioca tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 28 minutes of play, Slovakia's Metod Mlynar made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcus Dias was left in no man's land by his defense there! Henrich Slany made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aníbal Marquez in the 41st minute of play. Marcus Dias didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oliver Holub went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aníbal Marquez to make the kick off. Pavol Koleno kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Vavrinec Koleno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ronaldão de Barros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Durval de Almeida's late challenge caught a Slovakia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Durval de Almeida helped the player get up and apologised. Durval de Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Kornel Jahoda kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. In the 75th minute, Edmílson Maciel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Henrich Slany was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Pavol Koleno got his second yellow card in the match during the 78th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Caneleiros FC booed when Slovakia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pavol Koleno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ronaldão de Barros hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Slovakia's Metod Mlynar couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 84th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Caneleiros FC. After 86 minutes, Clóvis Oliveira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caneleiros FC and the Slovakia players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Caneleiros FC's Clóvis Oliveira got a free kick in the 86th minute. Slovakia's Metod Mlynar shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 86th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Marcus Dias but with some difficulty. Henrich Slany took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aníbal Marquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vavrinec Koleno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ronaldão de Barros hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Slovakia's Henrich Slany played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aníbal Marquez in the 96th minute of play. The Caneleiros FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Slovakia's performance. The match ended with a win for Slovakia.
