Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Kurt van der Laan started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Major Barna in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ralph Roeles prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ralph Roeles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Katona Janos, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. With a little luck, Hungary's Fodor Daniel got control of the ball when Kurt van der Laan tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 11th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ralph Roeles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antal Valentin struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Ralph Roeles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. Antal Valentin made in the 19th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Otto Schiphouwer. Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Ralph Roeles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 20th minute of play. After 21 minutes Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antal Valentin who took care of the corner kick. After a defensive mix-up in Hungary's zone, Kurt van der Laan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fodor Daniel came out of the goal and Kurt van der Laan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ralph Roeles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antal Valentin, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. When Antal Valentin came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antal Valentin couldn't finish the play. In the 36th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ralph Roeles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ralph Roeles didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Takacs Tibor went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 41stth minute of the game Kurt van der Laan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hungary's Fodor Daniel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ralph Roeles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Major Barna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Antal Valentin to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Kurt van der Laan came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 54th minute, Katona Janos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norbert Skrzypek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ralph Roeles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hegedus Henrik in the 60th minute of play. Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Jan de Vlieger got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Julias Rascals Apeldoorn's Ralph Roeles got control of the ball when Antal Valentin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Antal Valentin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ralph Roeles came out and tried to block the shot, but Antal Valentin slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 68th minute. After 72 minutes, Katona Janos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hungary and the Julias Rascals Apeldoorn players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 72 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Katona Janos. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kurt van der Laan in the 73rd minute of play. In the 74th minute, Hungary's Major Barna ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ralph Roeles. Ralph Roeles yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Ralph Roeles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 77th minute of play. Kurt van der Laan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Hungary's Takacs Tibor got a free kick in the 89th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kurt van der Laan in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fodor Daniel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match was over Hungary could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Julias Rascals Apeldoorn throughout the match.
