In the 5thth minute of the game Patricio Jakes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Slovakia's Henrich Slany was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Patricio Jakes in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Henrich Slany saved Slovakia from getting behind. In the 8th minute of the match Revolución Joao FC got a corner. Slovakia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Osvaldo Somoza ran over to the corner to take the kick. Diego Gracia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 12th minute, Metod Mlynar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Patricio Jakes succeeded in the game's 14th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Kornel Jahoda kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Henrich Slany made an important save on a dangerous shot by Osvaldo Somoza in the 19th minute. The supporters of Revolución Joao FC booed when Slovakia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Metod Mlynar didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Revolución Joao FC's Henrich Slany threw himself towards the right post 21 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Patricio Jakes, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 30th minute Patricio Jakes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrich Slany saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute, Patricio Jakes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Revolución Joao FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Jakes in the 33rd minute of play forced Slovakia's goalkeeper Henrich Slany to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Burbano Charro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Metod Mlynar made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Revolución Joao FC's Lopez Socarras got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Pavol Koleno took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 53rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Joel Ahonen. Revolución Joao FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Patricio Jakes in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Henrich Slany prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Slovakia's Kornel Jahoda got a free kick in the 61st minute. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Patricio Jakes put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Henrich Slany. Humberto Carillo struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Henrich Slany didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Revolución Joao FC. Pavol Koleno kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Henrich Slany showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Jakes, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. 83 minutes into the match, Slovakia's goal looked a bit too open when Osvaldo Somoza came free, but Henrich Slany reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patricio Jakes scored 7-0 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Henrich Slany, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 89 minutes into the match, Slovakia's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Jakes came free, but Henrich Slany reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Revolución Joao FC booed when Slovakia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ondrej Biskup didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patricio Jakes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Patricio Jakes took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Henrich Slany. Henrich Slany dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0.
