Héctor Quintero showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Slovakia's zone, Michel Torres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henrich Slany came out of the goal and Michel Torres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 9th minute Héctor Quintero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrich Slany saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Michel Torres had several of the Slovakia's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 10 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Henrich Slany as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 14th minute Héctor Quintero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrich Slany saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henrich Slany was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Michel Torres showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 15 minute of play. FC Gamla Stan's supporters rose to their feet, but Teddi Suutari was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henrich Slany breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the last second Henrich Slany throw himself and got hold of the ball when Héctor Quintero in the 41stth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. The supporters of Slovakia booed when FC Gamla Stan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Héctor Quintero didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Zigmund Maliar hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Slovakia's Henrich Slany played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teddi Suutari in the 56th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Teddi Suutari's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Henrich Slany was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Teddi Suutari scored 4-0 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Henrich Slany, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Slovakia's zone, Teddi Suutari stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henrich Slany came out of the goal and Teddi Suutari tried to chip the ball over his head. Henrich Slany was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 81 minutes, Michel Torres managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Gamla Stan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Michel Torres was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC Gamla Stan made a substitution. Morgan Niby replaced Teddi Suutari. In the 84th minute, Mattæus Corvil left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Gamla Stan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. FC Gamla Stan's Vatan Nass got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 91st minute Héctor Quintero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrich Slany saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henrich Slany took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Héctor Quintero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Gamla Stan's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
