An unexpectedly hard shot by Christoforos Iordanidis in the 11th minute of play forced Galaxy Team U18's goalkeeper Napoleon Jaroch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Nikos Mantas in the 12th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Galaxy Team U18's Walery Grabski. Thomas Moschogiannis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aureliusz Mietus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adamantios Koumaditis's late challenge caught a Galaxy Team U18's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adamantios Koumaditis helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Galaxy Team U18 booed when Seahawks V55 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adamantios Koumaditis didn't get a good kick on the ball. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Galaxy Team U18 reached it. After the first half Galaxy Team U18 were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Petros Sarantos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Galaxy Team U18's Pawel Korytkowski got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Seahawks V55's goalkeeper Thomas Moschogiannis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Galaxy Team U18 were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Seahawks V55's much stronger midfield.
