But to his dismay, Róbson Messias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Rockets's João Adolfo Mineiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evelio Bladi in the 13th minute of play. After 17 minutes, Evelio Bladi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El ABUELO FC and the Rockets players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, El ABUELO FC's Evelio Bladi got a free kick in the 17th minute. After some careless play in the El ABUELO FC defense, Gilvan Chaves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ruperto Urre. The El ABUELO FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ruperto Urre should have stopped the shot. A collision led to El ABUELO FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Blas Lauro hit a great ball. Róbson Messias took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 23rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ruperto Urre. El ABUELO FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Rockets's goal looked a bit too open when Fidel Bermund came free, but João Adolfo Mineiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tales de Carvalho took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ruperto Urre. Ruperto Urre dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 31st minute Luisito Cesaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Adolfo Mineiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 36 minutes into the game, when Denis Guter put in a rough tackle. In the 37th match minute, El ABUELO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denis Guter to maneuver through the defense. Róbson Messias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, El ABUELO FC's Blas Lauro got a free kick in the 44th minute. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Róbson Messias stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. El ABUELO FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 56th minute, when Róbson Messias scored to the left of an out of position Ruperto Urre, making the score, 0-4. After a defensive mix-up in Rockets's zone, Jeronimo Cordarin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Adolfo Mineiro came out of the goal and Jeronimo Cordarin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rockets's João Adolfo Mineiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luisito Cesaro in the 65th minute of play. In the 84th match minute, El ABUELO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Humberto Olentzaro to maneuver through the defense. The referee felt a red card was in order, 88 minutes into the game, when Tomás Ferraz put in a rough tackle. The supporters of El ABUELO FC booed when Rockets was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomás Ferraz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Rockets's goal looked a bit too open when Higinio Videl came free, but João Adolfo Mineiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. João Adolfo Mineiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luisito Cesaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eriberto Tabor scored 2-6 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of João Adolfo Mineiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Rockets players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
