A wasted opportunity for Espen Steelers. 13 minutes into the match, Falko Reimann notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Racing Rocafort C.F.'s Blai Vadillos. Blai Vadillos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 16 minutes into the match, Falko Reimann had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Blai Vadillos. Racing Rocafort C.F.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Falko Reimann was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. If Ferris Bieber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manolo Macia kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Blai Vadillos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferris Bieber in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Racing Rocafort C.F.'s goalkeeper Blai Vadillos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Blai Vadillos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferris Bieber, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 34th minute Ferris Bieber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blai Vadillos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Espen Steelers's Herbert Maina got control of the ball when Cordero Coira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Claus Buccino took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Blai Vadillos. Blai Vadillos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. After having played for 40 minutes, Raphael Aregger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Espen Steelers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raphael Aregger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Espen Steelers's Ferris Bieber got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 43 played minutes Espen Steelers got a freekick which was hit by Falko Reimann. After 47 minutes of play, Espen Steelers's Claus Buccino made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Blai Vadillos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Cordero Coira made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Falko Reimann ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Blai Vadillos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. 58 minutes into the match, Espen Steelers's Ferris Bieber sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Blai Vadillos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Falko Reimann's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Blai Vadillos was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Espen Steelers's Gianni Rohr was substituted for Fidel Righetti. Espen Steelers's Michael Charpie was substituted for Falko Reimann. 67 minutes into the match, Racing Rocafort C.F.'s goalkeeper Blai Vadillos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ferris Bieber. The supporters of Espen Steelers booed when Racing Rocafort C.F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anastasio Jaen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ferris Bieber who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 71stth minute tested the skills of Blai Vadillos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Blai Vadillos had great luck who in the 78thth minute grab hold of the ball when Michael Charpie from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andrew Lepage during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 80th match minute, Espen Steelers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrew Lepage to maneuver through the defense. After 81 played minutes, Racing Rocafort C.F.'s Arsenio De la Rosa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Herbert Maina came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Racing Rocafort C.F. reached it. Racing Rocafort C.F.'s Blai Vadillos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Racing Rocafort C.F. from getting a goal against them. Blai Vadillos came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Espen Steelers's Ferris Bieber. But to his dismay, Ferris Bieber quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-10. Blai Vadillos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Michael Charpie's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. Blai Vadillos was a little too slow when Claus Buccino got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 95th minute. The score was now 0-11. 98 minutes into the match, Racing Rocafort C.F.'s goalkeeper Blai Vadillos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ferris Bieber. When the match was over Espen Steelers could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Racing Rocafort C.F. throughout the match.
