The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute, Precioso Barcaiztegui hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 6 minutes, Iuri Cardozo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. COURO COME FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iuri Cardozo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Léo Sampaio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sixten Vallengren went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 11 played minutes COURO COME FC got a freekick which was hit by Lauro Guerra. 13 minutes into the game, Locomotiva grena's Christian Faria nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Léo Sampaio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After 22 played minutes COURO COME FC got a freekick which was hit by Décio Veiga. 24 minutes into the game, Christian Faria cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Léo Sampaio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With 27 minutes on the clock, Frederico Castro commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 27 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Locomotiva grena! 29 minutes into the match, Aírton Faria notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Locomotiva grena's Dorian Machado. Dorian Machado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The wind increased when Dito Mineiro made the kick off in the second half. Nildo Chaves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Dito Mineiro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 54thth minute tested the skills of Léo Sampaio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 56th match minute, COURO COME FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Leite to maneuver through the defense. The Locomotiva grena fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dorian Machado should have stopped the shot. Locomotiva grena's Dorian Machado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Décio Veiga in the 76th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Flavinho Mello got free with Léo Sampaio in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Iuri Cardozo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Dorian Machado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87th minute, Marconi Søback hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Natanael Paranaense hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Geovani Coutinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Dorian Machado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Flavinho Mello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
