The shot was a little too simple and Edmond Verdun could save by the left post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The wind increased when Kai Havertz made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Kai Havertz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bozkurt's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kai Havertz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edmond Verdun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kai Havertz, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Bozkurt's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Philippe Albert in the 79th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Errecaborda AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Bozkurt.
