Roberto Eztebe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oliver Petersson, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. After 8 minutes AFC FUSION's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Americo Frascuelo who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Rebelution's corner Americo Frascuelo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Roberto Eztebe quite easily take care of the ball. Oliver Petersson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roberto Eztebe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rebelution's goalkeeper Agustín Rossi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 19th match minute, Rebelution was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Americo Frascuelo to maneuver through the defense. Agustín Rossi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureliano Karlo in the 20th minute of play. AFC FUSION's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dawid Beckham in the 21st minute. AFC FUSION's Dawid Beckham was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Agustín Rossi in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 29 minutes into the game, AFC FUSION's Aureliano Karlo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Agustín Rossi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. A collision led to AFC FUSION getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Mario Sesuldo hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Rebelution's zone, Aureliano Karlo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Agustín Rossi came out of the goal and Aureliano Karlo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aureliano Karlo to strike the kick off in the second half. Aureliano Karlo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Agustín Rossi having to make a save. Agustín Rossi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aureliano Karlo, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Rebelution's Oliver Petersson got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rebelution made a substitution. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureliano Karlo in the 74th minute of play forced Rebelution's goalkeeper Agustín Rossi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. AFC FUSION's Christoff Stocks was substituted for Romulo Abilio. AFC FUSION's Segundo Vito was substituted for Guido Txindoki. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aureliano Karlo in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Agustín Rossi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 93 minutes into the match, Rebelution's goal looked a bit too open when Aureliano Karlo came free, but Agustín Rossi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Dario Guib dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Roberto Eztebe, 1-3. The Rebelution supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Rebelution would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
