The supporters of Brujas KV booed when Bancruz F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Arixo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ciro Nerio made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Zachary Pliszka sent off a good shot on target. Ciro Nerio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harry Styles, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Turgay Hafi to make the kick off.
