Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Levent Hicran got the match started through his kick off. Levent Hicran received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Wilson Amorim came out and tried to block the shot, but Levent Hicran slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 3rd minute. Attilio Di Renzo charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Attilio Di Renzo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 7th minute, one of San Mauro A Mare FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for San Mauro A Mare FC. In the 10th minute there was a penalty for Portugal. Felipe Barreto stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Rogério Mitovski. 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabinho Bastos during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 13th match minute, San Mauro A Mare FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabinho Bastos to maneuver through the defense. San Mauro A Mare FC's Rogério Mitovski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Matos in the 14th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abel Gasparyan. San Mauro A Mare FC's Abel Gasparyan got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Portugal's Wilson Amorim got control of the ball when Serafo Tome tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 24th minute Gustavo Matos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogério Mitovski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute, Fabinho Bastos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. San Mauro A Mare FC's Rogério Mitovski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Matos in the 27th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Serafo Tome. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tony Rosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. San Mauro A Mare FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dinu Dobre in the 42nd minute. Felipe Barreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 46 minutes into the match, San Mauro A Mare FC's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Barreto came free, but Rogério Mitovski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabricio Andrade recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The wind increased when Gustavo Matos made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Matos in the 53rd minute of play forced San Mauro A Mare FC's goalkeeper Rogério Mitovski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabinho Bastos got a throw-in 58 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Augusto Riso. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dinu Dobre in the 64th minute of the match. Serafo Tome took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Riso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rogério Mitovski came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Portugal's Felipe Barreto. But to his dismay, Felipe Barreto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. San Mauro A Mare FC made a substitution. Armin Berardini replaced Levent Hicran. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gustavo Matos in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rogério Mitovski saved San Mauro A Mare FC from getting behind. Fabinho Bastos made in the 85th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Augusto Riso immediately put the ball in play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Riso in the 86th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rogério Mitovski made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Daniel Pimentel sent off a good shot on target. Rogério Mitovski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gustavo Matos's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zhu Yun Bin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felipinho Amorim could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Rogério Mitovski made a huge save. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 95th minute of the game. One of San Mauro A Mare FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Portugal:s goal. In the 98th minute, Graciano Coutinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. San Mauro A Mare FC's Armin Berardini got a good chance for a goal in the 99th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Portugal supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Portugal would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
