Gerardo Beard was slow to take the kick. During this time Brooklyn SC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Gerardo Beard got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fodor Daniel quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 15th minute of play forced Brooklyn SC's goalkeeper Jospeh McNally to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Major Barna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Jospeh McNally tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute Balazs Lajos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jospeh McNally saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th match minute, Brooklyn SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Cole to maneuver through the defense. Trenton Long struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Fodor Daniel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brooklyn SC. 32 minutes into the match, Brooklyn SC's goal looked a bit too open when Takacs Tibor came free, but Jospeh McNally reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jospeh McNally took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hegedus Henrik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Trenton Long had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gerardo Beard to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Hungary were awarded a corner. Antal Valentin went to the cornerflag to take it. Antal Valentin made a great header on Hungary's corner, it was just that Brooklyn SC's Jospeh McNally managed to reach the ball for a save. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerardo Beard, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Trenton Long managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brooklyn SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Trenton Long was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fodor Daniel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 66th match minute, Brooklyn SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dwight Schrute to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Brooklyn SC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Jonas Cole hit a great ball. 77 minutes in the game, Jonas Cole dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 83rd minute, Katona Janos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Major Barna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 92 played minutes, Brooklyn SC's Gerardo Beard shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fodor Daniel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Brooklyn SC reached it. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Gerardo Beard managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brooklyn SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gerardo Beard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fodor Daniel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Brooklyn SC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
