In the 20thth minute of the game George Bălanescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of DINAMO PLOIESTI booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Malte Schiele didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that George Bălanescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Kahn was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gelu Balotă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Sachs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that George Bălanescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Kahn was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. Adrian Dreifuss's late challenge caught a DINAMO PLOIESTI's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adrian Dreifuss helped the player get up and apologised. DINAMO PLOIESTI walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
