Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when George Bălanescu got the match started through his kick off. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from George Bălanescu in the 4th minute of the match. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Chris Mergenthaler hit a great ball. In the 10th minute Sidnei Donato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Albin Holweck charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Albin Holweck the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from George Bălanescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gelu Balotă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albin Holweck in the 20th minute of the match. After 20 minutes of play, Germany's Albin Holweck made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gelu Balotă was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from George Bălanescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. A well placed George Bălanescu short distance shot in the 24th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. George Bălanescu took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Germany's Tommy Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Germany from getting a goal against them. DINAMO PLOIESTI's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sidnei Donato in the 34th minute. In the 35th minute, Florin Bratu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Sachs in the 37th minute of play forced DINAMO PLOIESTI's goalkeeper Gelu Balotă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frank Sachs might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gelu Balotă. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frank Sachs ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 44th minute, Kunter Irmak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

Malte Schiele hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. DINAMO PLOIESTI made a substitution. Claudiu Dragan replaced Kunter Irmak. The supporters of DINAMO PLOIESTI booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Malte Schiele didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frank Sachs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Albin Holweck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Gelu Balotă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rdth minute of the game George Bălanescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from George Bălanescu in the 64th minute of play. After a rather tough play, DINAMO PLOIESTI's Ricardo Grigore got a free kick in the 65th minute. When the match clock showed 76 minutes, the score became 4-1 when George Bălanescu sped through Germany's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. Claudiu Dragan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gelu Balotă made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Frank Sachs sent off a good shot on target. Tommy Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from George Bălanescu went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. DINAMO PLOIESTI made a substitution. Ianis Hagi replaced Niculae Geangu. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sidnei Donato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by George Bălanescu in the 94th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. DINAMO PLOIESTI had won after a very even match.
