Robert Davison showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nilton Tavares in the 13th minute of the match. Ingvar Nordstedt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Olli Fiedler's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esbjörn Kielstedt in the 16th minute of play forced Sportivo Luan Toro's goalkeeper Robert Davison to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Esbjörn Kielstedt in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Robert Davison saved Sportivo Luan Toro from getting behind. Ingvar Nordstedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Fidencio in the 17th minute of the match. Jo Barone blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ingvar Nordstedt having to make a save. In the 19th minute Jo Barone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ingvar Nordstedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olli Fiedler in the 24th minute of play forced Roma's goalkeeper Ingvar Nordstedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Alberto Fidencio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sportivo Luan Toro's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Fidencio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ingvar Nordstedt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sportivo Luan Toro's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marcus Vennerström was slow to take the kick. During this time Roma's players had a chance to rest. Roma's Ingvar Nordstedt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olli Fiedler in the 39th minute of play. Ingvar Nordstedt came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Sportivo Luan Toro's Olli Fiedler. But to his dismay, Olli Fiedler quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After the first half Sportivo Luan Toro were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Roma made a substitution. Fabian Andreasson replaced Arne Wiman. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nilton Tavares to strike the kick off in the second half. Roma's Ingvar Nordstedt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Roma from getting a goal against them. In the 56th minute Olli Fiedler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ingvar Nordstedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alberto Fidencio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Ingvar Nordstedt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61stth minute of the game Marcus Vennerström who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sportivo Luan Toro's Robert Davison was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Sportivo Luan Toro's Olli Fiedler in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Roma's goalie prevented a goal. Ingvar Nordstedt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olli Fiedler in the 67th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Sportivo Luan Toro's goal looked a bit too open when Esbjörn Kielstedt came free, but Robert Davison reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Roma's goalkeeper Ingvar Nordstedt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ingvar Nordstedt made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Alberto Fidencio sent off a good shot on target. Robert Davison made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esbjörn Kielstedt in the 75th minute of play. Sportivo Luan Toro made a substitution. Martins Palermo replaced Olli Fiedler. Robert Davison showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esbjörn Kielstedt in the 89th minute of the match. Ingvar Nordstedt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Vaiani in the 93rd minute of play.

For all the effort they put into the match, the Sportivo Luan Toro players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Roma.
