After 5 played minutes Chuffing Hell United got a freekick which was hit by Simon Rouse. In the 8th minute Alf Trydeman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tristram Fleetwood saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chuffing Hell United's Tristram Fleetwood played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steffen Gimlinge in the 13th minute of play. 41 minutes into the game, Simon Rouse threw the ball into play from the sideline. Club Universidad Nacional's Eustaquio Mede quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After a rather tough play, Chuffing Hell United's Andy Krief got a free kick in the 41st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Angel Morales managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Universidad Nacional's supporters rose to their feet, but Angel Morales was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tristram Fleetwood breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Seb Colton to make the kick off. Chuffing Hell United's defense didn't have a chance, in the 53rd minute, when Steffen Gimlinge scored to the left of an out of position Tristram Fleetwood, making the score, 1-2. Arnoud de Pelsmakere made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Seb Colton in the 56th minute of play. Chuffing Hell United were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after Club Universidad Nacional's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alf Lemerond took the corner. The corner ended in Alf Lemerond almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Club Universidad Nacional's Arnoud de Pelsmakere did a great save. Arnoud de Pelsmakere didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Seb Colton went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Club Universidad Nacional's Feliciano Frans was substituted for Steffen Gimlinge. Club Universidad Nacional's Gerardo Nesto was substituted for Angel Morales. Wladimir Herrera made in the 72nd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Inocencio Paublo however managed to control. Tristram Fleetwood didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 73rd minute, which inside left pole to 2-3. Eustaquio Mede could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Tristram Fleetwood made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliciano Frans in the 85th minute of play forced Chuffing Hell United's goalkeeper Tristram Fleetwood to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Feliciano Frans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Chuffing Hell United's Brandon Renner got a free kick in the 88th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gerardo Nesto in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tristram Fleetwood saved Chuffing Hell United from getting behind. Inocencio Paublo kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match.

Club Universidad Nacional played a much better game than Chuffing Hell United and deserved their victory. The Chuffing Hell United players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
