Ni Jun Sha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xuaco Oñaederra, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Szimbas Lejonflock's Ni Jun Sha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xuaco Oñaederra in the 7th minute of play. In the 7th minute Xuaco Oñaederra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ni Jun Sha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Moneyball's Xuaco Oñaederra got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 16th minute Imre Szabics shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ni Jun Sha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Imre Szabics in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ni Jun Sha saved Szimbas Lejonflock from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Imre Szabics's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ni Jun Sha was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. In the 19th minute Xuaco Oñaederra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ni Jun Sha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Szimbas Lejonflock's Ni Jun Sha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xuaco Oñaederra in the 22nd minute of play. Xuaco Oñaederra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Szimbas Lejonflock's Ni Jun Sha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xuaco Oñaederra in the 24th minute of play. Ni Jun Sha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Imre Szabics, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After 31 played minutes Moneyball got a freekick which was hit by Anthony D'Amico. Ni Jun Sha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Imre Szabics, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Imre Szabics in the 34th minute of play forced Szimbas Lejonflock's goalkeeper Ni Jun Sha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Edgar Andersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ni Jun Sha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Imre Szabics, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After some careless play in the Szimbas Lejonflock defense, Xuaco Oñaederra kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ni Jun Sha. The Szimbas Lejonflock fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ni Jun Sha should have stopped the shot. After 45 played minutes, Szimbas Lejonflock's Mats Hummels shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jose Mourinho came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Szimbas Lejonflock reached it. After the first half Moneyball were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Xuaco Oñaederra to strike the kick off in the second half. Ni Jun Sha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oliver Bergman, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. If Sven Morat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 63 played minutes Moneyball got a freekick which was hit by Stephen Curry. In the 66th minute Sven Morat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jose Mourinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ni Jun Sha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Imre Szabics in the 67th minute of play. Szimbas Lejonflock's Ni Jun Sha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Imre Szabics in the 69th minute of play. A collision led to Moneyball getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Alexandre Azevedo hit a great ball. Moneyball's Jakub Šantrůček was substituted for Oliver Bergman. Moneyball made a substitution. Božetěch Caletka replaced Stanislav Mikolášek. In the 72nd match minute, Moneyball was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandre Azevedo to maneuver through the defense. In the 75th minute Xuaco Oñaederra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ni Jun Sha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ni Jun Sha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Imre Szabics in the 80th minute of the match. Xuaco Oñaederra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ni Jun Sha having to interfere. Szimbas Lejonflock's Ni Jun Sha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Szimbas Lejonflock from getting a goal against them. Ni Jun Sha came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Moneyball's Xuaco Oñaederra. But to his dismay, Xuaco Oñaederra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Szimbas Lejonflock's Ni Jun Sha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Szimbas Lejonflock from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Szimbas Lejonflock booed when Moneyball was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Imre Szabics didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The Szimbas Lejonflock supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Moneyball's performance. The match ended with a win for Moneyball.
