Harry Forssell charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Harry Forssell the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 4 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Oskar Åhman came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hogans Heroes's Emil Wahlström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 5th minute of play. Emil Wahlström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 13th minute, Antal Valentin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emil Wahlström was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Charles Gregersson charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Charles Gregersson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Hogans Heroes getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Charles Gregersson hit a great ball. Hogans Heroes's Emil Wahlström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 18th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sven-Oskar Åhman got free with Fodor Daniel in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hegedus Henrik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emil Wahlström having to interfere. Emil Wahlström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Fodor Daniel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sven-Oskar Åhman went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Emil Wahlström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 36th minute of play. Hogans Heroes's Tomas Kielstedt took a good shot, in the 40th minute, which hit the crossbar above Fodor Daniel's head, and flew over the goal. Hungary's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by Hogans Heroes. In the 44th minute, Antal Valentin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hungary fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Emil Wahlström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 48th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
51 minutes into the game, Hogans Heroes's Sven-Oskar Åhman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fodor Daniel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Emil Wahlström in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 62nd minute of the match, Major Barna got a very nice opportunity to score, but Emil Wahlström was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 63 minutes into the match, Hogans Heroes's goalkeeper Emil Wahlström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antal Valentin. Antal Valentin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emil Wahlström having to make a save. During the 79th minute of the match Charles Gregersson completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Charles Gregersson a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Hogans Heroes's Charles Gregersson got a free kick in the 80th minute. Hogans Heroes's Emil Wahlström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 82nd minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Vörös Henrik got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Emil Wahlström quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 85 minutes into the match, Hungary's Major Barna sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emil Wahlström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Harry Forssell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Kielstedt in the 95th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
