White Raven FC.'s Hipolito Cambranes got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hipolito Cambranes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Wilson Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Portugal defense, Hipolito Cambranes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wilson Amorim. The Portugal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wilson Amorim should have stopped the shot. Fülöp Marton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viriato Moura in the 19th minute of play. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by Portugal's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Urbano Jerano was slow to take the kick. During this time White Raven FC.'s players had a chance to rest. The corner led to White Raven FC.'s Cido Perez getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. A hard shot 31 in the game by Hipolito Cambranes from a close distance when the talented Wilson Amorim managed to make a qualified save. Portugal's players were relieved. Wilson Amorim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hipolito Cambranes's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. In the 35th minute Felipe Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fülöp Marton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Portugal's Felipe Barreto in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Viriato Moura made a kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Portugal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabricio Andrade to maneuver through the defense. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hipolito Cambranes in the 59th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Portugal's Daniel Pimentel quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Enzo Mufazalov, made in the 61st minute of the game. In the 66th minute, Hipolito Cambranes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The White Raven FC. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Portugal made a substitution. Felipinho Amorim replaced Felipe Barreto. Hipolito Cambranes might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wilson Amorim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hipolito Cambranes ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 70th minute Hipolito Cambranes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felipinho Amorim hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Fülöp Marton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolomeu Dias in the 79th minute of play. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 92nd minute Felipinho Amorim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fülöp Marton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 96 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Hipolito Cambranes came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Portugal's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
