Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Frank Sachs started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Through an outstanding action, after 13 minutes, Tommy Kahn successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 17 minutes into the game, Pauliström's Folke Melin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Pauliström's Ingvar Johansson got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 26 minutes of play, Pauliström's Max Hjortsberg made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tommy Kahn was left in no man's land by his defense there! Frank Sachs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Malcolm Wall read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Germany were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after Pauliström's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Frank Sachs took the corner. The audience thought a goal was coming when Folke Melin got free with Tommy Kahn in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In a very dangerous position, a player in Germany fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 37th minute. Penalty! Adrian Dreifuss hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Christer Åström kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. In the 45th minute, Malte Schiele hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A long shot from Ivar Björklund in the 46th minute of play was well struck, but Tommy Kahn made a really good save at the right post. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingvar Johansson in the 48th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Folke Melin made a kick off. Ivar Björklund took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. After 58 minutes Germany's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ivar Björklund who took care of the corner kick. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Folke Melin put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Tommy Kahn. Frank Sachs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Malcolm Wall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th minute, Frank Sachs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 79th minute, Ingvar Johansson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pauliström fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adrian Dreifuss during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 89th minute, Magnus Björk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Pauliström had played much better football throughout.
