The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Major Barna took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfons Lövgren. Gottfrid Stor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Fodor Daniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, Bahrtys Talanger's goal looked a bit too open when Hegedus Henrik came free, but Alfons Lövgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfons Lövgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antal Valentin in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfons Lövgren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Bahrtys Talanger's Mustafa Ali Tunçaslan got a free kick in the 27th minute. Bahrtys Talanger's Alfons Lövgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Balazs Lajos in the 31st minute of play. The supporters of Hungary booed when Bahrtys Talanger was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mustafa Ali Tunçaslan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dre Schipmans could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Fodor Daniel made a huge save. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dre Schipmans, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Barna in the 45th minute of play forced Bahrtys Talanger's goalkeeper Alfons Lövgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gottfrid Stor stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
