Frank Sachs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tommy Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teobaldo Venerando in the 11th minute. In the 11th minute, Yo Soy Tu Padre's Teobaldo Venerando ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute, Janik Vogt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tommy Kahn was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Feliciano Lope. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teobaldo Venerando got free with Tommy Kahn in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Teobaldo Venerando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Feliciano Lope had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Germany's Adrian Dreifuss got a free kick in the 39th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Feliciano Lope stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Feliciano Lope tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Hipolito Solbeida managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yo Soy Tu Padre's supporters rose to their feet, but Hipolito Solbeida was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Kahn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 53rd minute, Teobaldo Venerando left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Yo Soy Tu Padre fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Adrian Dreifuss hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. The supporters of Yo Soy Tu Padre booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Janik Vogt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Feliciano Lope took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 60th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tommy Kahn. Germany's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Teobaldo Venerando came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Feliciano Lope came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Yo Soy Tu Padre fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Feliciano Lope couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Germany's Janik Vogt got a free kick in the 71st minute. Yo Soy Tu Padre made a substitution. Marcelino Jurgi replaced Feliciano Lope. In the 77th minute Germany were awarded a corner. Frank Sachs went to the cornerflag to take it. 83 minutes into the match, Albin Holweck dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Laureano Bizi, 2-1. After having played for 87 minutes, Teobaldo Venerando managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yo Soy Tu Padre's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teobaldo Venerando was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ricardo Ticho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Germany's Adrian Dreifuss got a free kick in the 90th minute. A collision led to Yo Soy Tu Padre getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Teobaldo Venerando hit a great ball. If Teobaldo Venerando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yo Soy Tu Padre's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
