All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vince Santo made a kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Inter de Guayaquil FC's Jörn Svartengren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mirza Olgunsoy made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. In the 64th minute Jörn Svartengren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mirza Olgunsoy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 66th minute Inter de Guayaquil FC were awarded a corner. Pompiliu Cristian went to the cornerflag to take it. 68 minutes into the game, Jörn Svartengren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Mirza Olgunsoy was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. SEFEROĞULLARI made a substitution. Uğur Erkovich replaced Vince Santo. SEFEROĞULLARI's Berkem Bekata was substituted for Tao Ao Xing. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uğur Erkovich in the 76th minute of play forced Inter de Guayaquil FC's goalkeeper Sebastian Hellkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Inter de Guayaquil FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while SEFEROĞULLARI had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
