A very good chance. 7 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernardinho de Brito. If Gijsbert ter Kruimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gadiel Gadov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Wilmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 12 minutes, Arnout Reekers successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 16th minute Lars Meesters shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gadiel Gadov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th match minute, Leão de Judá was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristóvão Bezerra to maneuver through the defense. Netherlands's defense didn't have a chance, in the 22nd minute, when Cristiano Azevedo scored to the left of an out of position Arnout Reekers, making the score, 1-0. A hard shot 26 in the game by Cristiano Azevedo from a close distance when the talented Arnout Reekers managed to make a qualified save. Netherlands's players were relieved. João Carlos Soeiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Arnout Reekers made a huge save. Leão de Judá's Gadiel Gadov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 33rd minute of play. Wim Wilmes scored 1-1 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gadiel Gadov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 39th minute, Wim Wilmes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gijsbert ter Kruimer made a kick off. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristiano Azevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. In the 63rd minute, Freddy Rincón hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free with the goalkeeper in the 64th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gadiel Gadov could save by the left post. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Carlos Soeiro in the 66th minute of the match. In the 68th minute, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. 79 minutes into the game, Jonathan Rodas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Leão de Judá's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Netherlands the free kick. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Leão de Judá was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Rodas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd minute Caetano De Bruyne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gadiel Gadov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 85th minute. In the 88th minute Netherlands were awarded a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. Gadiel Gadov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. After 95 minutes of play, Leão de Judá's Cristiano Azevedo made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnout Reekers was left in no man's land by his defense there! Leão de Judá's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
