In the 19th minute Marcel van der Velden shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabián Ruiz in the 20th minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by Belgium's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Zhou Zhan Li was slow to take the kick. During this time Chancy Olympique's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Zhou Zhan Li got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Casper Claes quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 29th minute Alain Desmet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Méret saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Alain Desmet's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alex Méret was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Alain Desmet blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alex Méret having to make a save. Ozan Kabaks kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Chancy Olympique made a substitution. Carlo Wollstadt replaced Lazlo Lauzier. Zhou Zhan Li lost his temper 60 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 59 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Chancy Olympique! Chancy Olympique's Vladimir Weyermann was substituted for Pawel Fleischer. Casper Claes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Christian Kracht went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Alex Méret showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yves Dervaux in the 68th minute of the match. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladimir Weyermann in the 70th minute of play. Christian Kracht's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Casper Claes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Teofil Soszka charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teofil Soszka the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Belgium booed when Chancy Olympique was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teofil Soszka didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chancy Olympique made a substitution. Jaro Ammon replaced Christian Kracht. A collision led to Belgium getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Lenny Clocheret hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaro Ammon in the 76th minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaro Ammon in the 79th minute of play. Chancy Olympique were awarded a corner in the 80th minute after Belgium's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Teofil Soszka took the corner. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alain Desmet got free with Alex Méret in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jaro Ammon in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Casper Claes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vladimir Weyermann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Casper Claes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 97th match minute, Chancy Olympique was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teofil Soszka to maneuver through the defense.
