In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind France's goalkeeper Maxime Durand, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jeremias Clementi got free with Maxime Durand in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 30th minute, Jeremias Clementi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Maxime Durand. The goal made the score 1-2. In the 34th minute, Maxence Durand hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Orlando Gatti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camille Baume, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maxime Durand came out of the goal and Jeremias Clementi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maxime Durand was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jeremias Clementi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 43 minute of play. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frank Peletier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Froilan Tabb managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peluchita Fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Froilan Tabb was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maxime Durand breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
