In the 26thth minute of the game Chris Nygaard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Romanian Kings FC's Martin Huf was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Romanian Kings FC booed when Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olav Graversen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mihnea Bobei made a kick off. Denmark's attentive Theis Winther managed to snatch the ball when Leigh Longden made a throw-in in the 62nd minute of the game. In the 63rd minute, Theis Winther hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Denmark's Bertram Svenningsen managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Cao Han Qi in the 66 minute of the game. Chris Nygaard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Martin Huf came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Denmark's Bertram Svenningsen. But to his dismay, Bertram Svenningsen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Mikkel Wulff received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Martin Huf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Martin Huf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bertram Svenningsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. With 85 minutes on the clock, Bjarne Kirkegaard commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Denmark fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 85th minute. Penalty! Keld Paulsen had in the 87thth minute some difficulties stopping Leigh Longden's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball.
