Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Calistrat Bordeianu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 2nd minute. 4 minutes into the match, Carp Team's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free, but Calistrat Bordeianu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 4 minutes of play, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Calistrat Bordeianu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Calistrat Bordeianu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gijsbert ter Kruimer's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radomir Šiljak in the 8th minute of play. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolae Zaharia in the 10th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Carp Team's Calistrat Bordeianu. Calistrat Bordeianu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 17 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Nichifor Boaru came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nichifor Boaru in the 17th minute of play. Wim Wilmes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolae Zaharia in the 23rd minute of play. Netherlands were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after Carp Team's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the corner. When Gijsbert ter Kruimer came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gijsbert ter Kruimer couldn't finish the play. In the 39th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Calistrat Bordeianu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Gijsbert ter Kruimer notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Carp Team's Calistrat Bordeianu. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Carp Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gogo Merexildo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Netherlands were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nicolae Zaharia was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radomir Šiljak in the 52nd minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radomir Šiljak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Matei Cârstea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Calistrat Bordeianu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 58th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the game, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Calistrat Bordeianu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. In the 65th match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egbert Nijveldt to maneuver through the defense. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nichifor Boaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bas Tuitert to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 77 minutes, Gijsbert ter Kruimer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gijsbert ter Kruimer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. David Eikelkamp could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Calistrat Bordeianu made a huge save. Calistrat Bordeianu made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a good shot on target. Gustaaf Groeneveldt hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Arnout Reekers didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Radomir Šiljak went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radomir Šiljak in the 87th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Carp Team's zone, Wim Wilmes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Calistrat Bordeianu came out of the goal and Wim Wilmes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 92nd minute Radomir Šiljak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Calistrat Bordeianu managed to avoid a goal in the 95thth minute, when Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The Netherlands supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Netherlands would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
