After a rather tough play, Germany's Chris Mergenthaler got a free kick in the 43rd minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. But to his dismay, Armando Toppi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-2. Octavian Humă made in the 87th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Armando Toppi. Malte Schiele's late challenge caught a Cacciola's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Malte Schiele helped the player get up and apologised. Malte Schiele kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Dario Marziali took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 90th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tommy Kahn. Germany's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Cacciola's attentive Nunez Hernando managed to snatch the ball when Chris Mergenthaler made a throw-in in the 95th minute of the game. There was no doubt that Cacciola were the better team. Cacciola's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
