Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dariusz Praski in the 21st minute of play. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dariusz Praski in the 24th minute of play. In the 35th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Willy Stieler to maneuver through the defense. If Aleksander Winograd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Malte Schiele during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 45th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Malte Schiele to maneuver through the defense. Tommy Kahn acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 46th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Dariusz Praski. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dariusz Praski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Frank Sachs to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes of play, Jagiellonia Bialystok's Dariusz Praski made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tommy Kahn was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kryspin Praski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jagiellonia Bialystok's Wieslaw Trzaskoma proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Jagiellonia Bialystok from getting a goal against them. Kryspin Praski charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kryspin Praski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 65th minute of the match Frank Sachs shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wieslaw Trzaskoma showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dariusz Praski in the 68th minute of the match. Ulrich Stein sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Jagiellonia Bialystok's Damazy Pawlak got a free kick in the 77th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Eustaquio Fertus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Eustaquio Fertus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 80 minutes, Charlie Singer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jagiellonia Bialystok and the Germany players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Frank Sachs came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Germany fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Sachs couldn't finish the play. In the 91st match minute, Jagiellonia Bialystok was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barnaba Glozor to maneuver through the defense. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Napoleon Dziatkowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Jagiellonia Bialystok had played much better football throughout.
