Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gijsbert ter Kruimer started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Galácticos del Pueblo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juarês Pontes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 6 minutes into the match, Galácticos del Pueblo's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Roch Roman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roch Roman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 10th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Netherlands's zone, Jorden De Cerpel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnout Reekers came out of the goal and Jorden De Cerpel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorden De Cerpel in the 18th minute of play. Cristobal Mirande hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Murillo Cano to make the kick off. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Merih Bengi in the 51st minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, Netherlands's Wim Wilmes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roch Roman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 55 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Merih Bengi came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roch Roman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 58th minute. With a little luck, Galácticos del Pueblo's Roch Roman got control of the ball when Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to sneak it across the goal line. David Eikelkamp kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Merih Bengi came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wim Wilmes got free with Roch Roman in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Enzo Guerau's late challenge caught a Netherlands's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enzo Guerau helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Galácticos del Pueblo getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Enzo Guerau hit a great ball. Roch Roman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. An unexpected shot in the 88th minute by Gijsbert ter Kruimer got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Gijsbert ter Kruimer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 94 played minutes Galácticos del Pueblo got a freekick which was hit by Maximiliano Perrando. Despite being the better team, Netherlands failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
