After a rather tough play, England's Leighton Davies got a free kick in the 7th minute. Balázs Sebes came free with the goalkeeper in the 13th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Khalid Kennedy could save by the left post. England's Khalid Kennedy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Balázs Sebes in the 20th minute of play. Issac Dawson's late challenge caught a Hoberg United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Issac Dawson helped the player get up and apologised. After 21 played minutes England got a freekick which was hit by Issac Dawson. After 26 minutes, Xavier Gallagher mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the England and the Hoberg United players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 27th match minute, England was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leighton Davies to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, England's Khalid Kennedy got control of the ball when Balázs Sebes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dida Martins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Micah Macdonald, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, England's Seth Young got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Balázs Sebes did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Khalid Kennedy 36 minutes into the match. 40 minutes into the match, England's goalkeeper Khalid Kennedy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Balázs Sebes. Balázs Sebes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dida Martins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kyle Cox in the 45th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Hoberg United's Balázs Sebes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Khalid Kennedy. That made the score 3-0 after 48 minutes of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kyle Cox to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Hoberg United getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Danny Grønnow hit a great ball. Khalid Kennedy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Danny Grønnow in the 65th minute of play. In the 70th minute Balázs Sebes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Khalid Kennedy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Balázs Sebes in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Khalid Kennedy saved England from getting behind. A collision led to England getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Eddie Willis hit a great ball. After 76 played minutes, Hoberg United's Danny Grønnow shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Khalid Kennedy came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hoberg United reached it. The supporters of England booed when Hoberg United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudio-Paul Pirinchev didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th minute, Cooper Thompson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 80 minutes into the match, Hoberg United's Danny Grønnow broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Balázs Sebes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute, Xavier Gallagher hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
