Stratos Katsara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Stratos Katsara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Breno da Mata in the 13th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Copetonas AFC's goalkeeper Marcelo Cordairo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manolis Kalergis. 19 minutes into the match, Seahawks V55's goal looked a bit too open when Breno da Mata came free, but Stratos Katsara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Seahawks V55 getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Valerios Kavatzidis hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Seahawks V55's Sakis Samarakos got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Seahawks V55's Stratos Katsara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pompiliu Ciutacu in the 27th minute of play. In the 38th minute Lakis Antonopoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Cordairo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Pompiliu Ciutacu sped through Seahawks V55's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Stratos Katsara. Stratos Katsara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pompiliu Ciutacu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 47 minutes into the match, Seahawks V55's goal looked a bit too open when Pompiliu Ciutacu came free, but Stratos Katsara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sakis Samarakos to make the kick off. Seahawks V55's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Manolis Kalergis in the 52nd minute. The corner ended in Manolis Kalergis almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Copetonas AFC's Marcelo Cordairo did a great save. Seahawks V55's Stratos Katsara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pompiliu Ciutacu in the 53rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prokopis Aspiridis in the 63rd minute of play forced Copetonas AFC's goalkeeper Marcelo Cordairo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Seahawks V55's Giannis Spyridakis got a free kick in the 76th minute. Copetonas AFC made a substitution. Lucio Fagildo replaced Fabio Gimenez. The supporters of Copetonas AFC booed when Seahawks V55 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giannis Spyridakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Valerios Kavatzidis in the 87th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Copetonas AFC's Jeronimo Franco. Stratos Katsara stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arko Thomaschewski's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. Arko Thomaschewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stratos Katsara having to interfere. Stratos Katsara made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pompiliu Ciutacu in the 96th minute.
