Raúl da Silveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Pedro Miranda in the 11th minute of play. The supporters of FIEL ALGUSTA booed when LULU TRICOLOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Pedro Donatello didn't get a good kick on the ball. 18 minutes into the match, FIEL ALGUSTA's goal looked a bit too open when José Pedro Miranda came free, but Raúl da Silveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute, José Pedro Miranda made a precise shot to the right of Raúl da Silveira. FIEL ALGUSTA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 25 minutes into the match, Murillo Pernambucano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Octaaf Haesevoets. LULU TRICOLOR's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Murillo Pernambucano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 27 minutes into the match, FIEL ALGUSTA's goal looked a bit too open when Téo Félix came free, but Raúl da Silveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Raúl da Silveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Téo Félix, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. When FIEL ALGUSTA's Murillo Pernambucano in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye LULU TRICOLOR's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, LULU TRICOLOR's Vivaldo Cardozo got a free kick in the 35th minute. Murillo Pernambucano took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Octaaf Haesevoets. Octaaf Haesevoets dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 46th minute, Benedito Pirani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Murillo Pernambucano made a kick off. Ruben Corderro might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Octaaf Haesevoets. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ruben Corderro ran back to his position shaking his head. Ruben Corderro's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Octaaf Haesevoets firmly grabbed it by the left post. Octaaf Haesevoets was a little too slow when Ruben Corderro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 53rd minute. The score was now 1-3. The supporters of LULU TRICOLOR booed when FIEL ALGUSTA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedito Pirani didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raúl da Silveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Pedro Miranda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th minute, José Pedro Miranda left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LULU TRICOLOR fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. When José Pedro Miranda came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the LULU TRICOLOR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Pedro Miranda couldn't finish the play. In the 71st minute, Murillo Pernambucano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Octaaf Haesevoets was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. In the 81st match minute, LULU TRICOLOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Téo Félix to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in FIEL ALGUSTA's zone, Téo Félix stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raúl da Silveira came out of the goal and Téo Félix tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Juninho Donatello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
