Gong Lang Jun kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. In the 4th minute Daniel Pimentel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Liviu Iordache saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felipe Barreto was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 6th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Caetano Moreira hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. 9 minutes into the match, Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s Ovidiu Șişman broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 11th minute, Graciano Coutinho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Liviu Iordache was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 17th minute, Daniel Pimentel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mădălin Cangeopol received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Wilson Amorim came out and tried to block the shot, but Mădălin Cangeopol slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 18th minute. After 23 minutes Portugal's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ovidiu Șişman who took care of the corner kick. After 28 minutes of play, Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s Alper Benli made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wilson Amorim was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Barreto in the 35th minute of play forced Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s goalkeeper Liviu Iordache to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Liviu Iordache took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Barreto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Felipe Barreto came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Portugal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felipe Barreto couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mădălin Cangeopol in the 44th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mădălin Cangeopol made a kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 58 minutes, Liviu Iordache successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s Liviu Iordache played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viriato Moura in the 61st minute of play. The supporters of Tractorul Satulung -MM- booed when Portugal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Pimentel didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Tractorul Satulung -MM- getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Romeo Ieremia hit a great ball. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias was substituted for Viriato Moura. Liviu Iordache came out of the goal and Felipinho Amorim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 90 played minutes Tractorul Satulung -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Gong Lang Jun. Liviu Iordache made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felipinho Amorim in the 91st minute. Felipinho Amorim's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Liviu Iordache read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Portugal were awarded a corner in the 94th minute after Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Pimentel took the corner. The corner led to Portugal's Graciano Coutinho getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Tractorul Satulung -MM-'s supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
