An unexpectedly hard shot by Vítězslav Kršek in the 4th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th match minute, Rohozec was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vítězslav Kršek to maneuver through the defense. Felipe Barreto took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised David Velecký. David Velecký dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jakub Jakeš, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Felipe Barreto might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over David Velecký. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felipe Barreto ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 36 minutes into the match, Rohozec's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Barreto came free, but David Velecký reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 41 minutes, Xinto Palencia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rohozec and the Portugal players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 41 played minutes Rohozec got a freekick which was hit by Xinto Palencia. The supporters of Rohozec booed when Portugal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Graciano Coutinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Jakub Jakeš came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Viriato Moura stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Rohozec getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Xinto Palencia hit a great ball. David Velecký took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Pimentel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Portugal made a substitution. Felipinho Amorim replaced Felipe Barreto. Portugal made a substitution. Bartolomeu Dias replaced Viriato Moura. David Velecký showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipinho Amorim in the 80th minute of the match. Daniel Pimentel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Rohozec fans' excitement grew in the 84th match minute when Rohozec's Kryštof Krejcar looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 87 played minutes Rohozec got a freekick which was hit by Yavuz Selim Baransel. When Bray Park fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rohozec's protests and gave Bray Park a yellow card for diving instead. If Felipinho Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Portugal's Felipinho Amorim quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Kléber Lopes, made in the 97th minute of the game. In the 98th minute Bartolomeu Dias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Velecký saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Portugal were awarded a corner in the 100th minute after Rohozec's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Pimentel took the corner. After taking down the ball on Portugal's corner Daniel Pimentel fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and David Velecký quite easily take care of the ball. Despite being the better team, Rohozec failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
