Mirnes Šehić who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 17thth minute tested the skills of Tommy Kahn when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The Foda fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 22nd match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulrich Stein to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Germany's Tommy Kahn got control of the ball when Mirnes Šehić tried to sneak it across the goal line. Foda's CJ Craddock played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Sachs in the 28th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andrés D'Alessandro in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Albin Holweck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without CJ Craddock having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Mirnes Šehić made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mirnes Šehić to make the kick off. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrés D'Alessandro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 59 minutes into the match, Frank Sachs dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of CJ Craddock, 3-1. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mirnes Šehić's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. Mirnes Šehić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
