The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Alessandro Micucci got the match started through his kick off. Emmanuel Dennis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Flavio Vittori made a huge save. Marcus Ekrot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Siricio Liotta in the 6th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Alessandro Micucci came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Italy's Flavio Vittori got control of the ball when Emmanuel Dennis tried to sneak it across the goal line. 15 minutes in the game Gianpaolo Mascari did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Siricio Liotta. 20 minutes into the match, Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tage Glanselius. The corner ended in Emmanuel Dennis almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Italy's Flavio Vittori did a great save. Flavio Vittori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alessandro Micucci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Italy booed when Vykans Vikingar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernan Berart didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 30 minutes of play, Vykans Vikingar's Emmanuel Dennis made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Flavio Vittori was left in no man's land by his defense there! Martin Mutumba hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zaccheo Andolina in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcus Ekrot saved Vykans Vikingar from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zaccheo Andolina in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcus Ekrot prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 37th minute of play forced Vykans Vikingar's goalkeeper Marcus Ekrot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcus Ekrot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 39th minute of the match. In the 40th match minute, Vykans Vikingar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Eden to maneuver through the defense. 41 minutes into the match, Italy's Zaccheo Andolina sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcus Ekrot narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 42nd minute, Fernan Berart hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Zaccheo Andolina put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Marcus Ekrot. After 46 played minutes Vykans Vikingar got a freekick which was hit by Martin Mutumba. 47 minutes into the game, Italy's Sigfrido Auletta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcus Ekrot made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Zaccheo Andolina made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Emmanuel Dennis came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot got control of the ball when Porziano Marchitelli tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vykans Vikingar's Marcus Ekrot proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Vykans Vikingar from getting a goal against them. Marcus Ekrot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 61st minute of play. In the 64th minute Siricio Liotta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Ekrot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vykans Vikingar made a substitution. Christoffer Johansson replaced Elliott Bogren. 67 minutes in the game Hugo Eden did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Emmanuel Dennis. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tage Glanselius in the 68th minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcus Ekrot dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. 82 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Tage Glanselius came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Vykans Vikingar's Börje Stål in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Italy's goalie prevented a goal. Marcus Ekrot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Marcus Ekrot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zaccheo Andolina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Italy's Adriano Curto was substituted for Zaccheo Andolina. Italy made a substitution. Guiscardo Davide replaced Sigfrido Auletta. Italy's Sostene Vitulli quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Hugo Eden, made in the 93rd minute of the game. In the 95th minute Adriano Curto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Ekrot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Italy walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
